Studio Creations

Wow what a summer! With so many activities shut down I have found countless hours to keep on creating. I started out many years ago painting with oils and watercolors, and I still dabble now and then with them, but I just can’t stop myself from using fabric to express my inspirations. My mom (Audree Sells) was a semi-famous quilter and fabric artist. Am I channeling her spirit? She always told me that some day I would be using fabric and here I am doing that exact thing! I was fortunate to inherit her collection of batiks and beautiful variegated threads. I find endless inspiration in nature, especially in landscapes and flowers.
